Maximize your conference experience

Excitement is building with the start of the Stronger to Serve conference just days away. We’re ready. Are you? Your days will be filled with enlightening sessions and networking opportunities to help you and your organization grow.

Following are tips from Wipfli’s own conference planning pros Tammy Jelinek and Amy Almond to help you get the most out of the week ahead.

Download the Bizzabo app

When you registered for the conference, you should have received an email soon after with a link to the event hosting platform Bizzabo. Downloading the Bizzabo app will make it easy to stay connected with everything happening at the conference. With the app, you can view sessions and “select your seat” (highly encouraged so we know how many to expect in each room), connect with trainers and other attendees and access accompanying training materials.

To print or not to print

No printed training materials will be distributed on site. If you prefer hard copies on hand, remember to print those materials available through Bizzabo before you leave and bring them with you.

Pack smart

While you don’t want to over pack, it may be important to dress in layers. Las Vegas temperatures may be smoldering, but air-conditioned spaces at Caesars can be quite chilly and temperatures vary from room to room. So having a sweater or jacket with you comes in very handy. But all in all, business casual works fine.

Comfortable shoes are a must. You’ll be putting in a fair number of steps each day. And consider bringing two pairs. Your feet will thank you.

Bring some cash. It’s handy to have small bills in your wallet to tip housekeepers, baggage handlers and drivers.

Stay connected

The best way to stay in the know about conference happenings is through your Bizzabo app. So, download before you go. You’ll find important news and updates there throughout the week. Also, we encourage you to post and share your conference experiences and photos on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #WipfliConf.

While it’s a good idea to charge your devices each night, most rooms will have tables with places to plug in to charge phones or laptops, as space permits.

Remember your business cards. Many of us are just getting back to in-person meetings and travel again. Stronger to Serve has enormous networking opportunities so be sure you have plenty of cards on hand to help you stay engaged with contacts you meet at the conference after your head home.

Take care of your health and well-being

Your health and safety are top priorities. During the conference, if you need a breather from the action, visit the Wipfli Wellness Room located near the registration desk. Enjoy the lower lighting, soft music and assortment of self-guided meditation cards to help you find your calm between sessions.

Regarding COVID-19, Wipfli will follow all local guidelines established by Caesars Palace, the city of Las Vegas and the state of Nevada. Here’s where to find the latest information:

If you start to feel sick, please refrain from attending sessions or gathering with others. If you test positive for COVID-19, please email us right away at and consult CDC and local guidelines for how long you should isolate.

Safe travels. Get ready to connect, learn, lead. We can’t wait to see you!
