Description:
We’re excited to kick-off the week with one of the most impressive, impactful nonprofit leaders in the business. Anna Maria Chávez, the first woman of color to lead the Girl Scouts of the USA will speak about applying a mission-driven, proactive mindset in all aspects of life. Anna Maria later held top jobs at the National Council on Aging and the National School Boards Association. She was named one of FORTUNE’s World’s Greatest Leaders in 2016 and recognized in Forbes' 50 0ver 50 women leaders list in 2021. She currently leads a new non-profit, Encantos.org, focused on advancing the understanding of the importance of 21st-century learning, literacy, and life skills for children through the development of research, programs and fellowships.
